Trump Slams GM as U.S. Workforce Shrinks to Detroit's Smallest Automaker

U.S. President Donald Trump criticized General Motors Co. for shrinking its U.S. manufacturing presence, which has reduced the company’s unionized workforce to the smallest among Detroit’s automakers. Bloomberg News reported GM employed fewer United Auto Workers-represented employees than Ford Motor Co. or Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV. The president ordered GM to “start moving back to America again.”

GM has announced more than $23 billion of investments in U.S. manufacturing operations over the last decade, which it says is more than one-fourth of the industry’s total in that span.

Hey, Donald! The Trump economy closed the Ohio plant.

You get full credit for the bad in the Trump economy just as you take full credit for the good.

for GM. Camaro is scheduled to be gone by 2022,Blazer is a mess from early reports, and it is made in Mexico.Buick Division is being thinned out. And the real hit is the Fault Issues surrounding their Light Truck Division. Looking like GM is transitioning to a Retail Sales Model and will use a Contract Supply Model much like Major Retailers do.
