If so, I must be a "dinosaur citizen" at 70. Kudos to the guy either way. Hope they catch the bad guy.

...not that anyone gets any kind of discounts anymore, but I'm certainly not a senior myself at 66. Everybody else thinks so though. hahaha

I added that to the title because that was probably why the robber decided he would be an easy mark. It just sweetens the story.

in a loop on bike paths and trails around the edge of my city. I have 2 tactical flashlights on the front of my bike that are blinding if you look right at them. I have a 2 foot club mounted on my crossbar in case of dogs, 4 legged or 2 legged, as well as a knife mounted on my handlebars and one in my pocket.
It's beautiful, cool, and quiet riding at this time at this time of year and there are few people or vehicles around so it's very enjoyable.
But if somebody wants to mess with this old man, unless they have a gun they will be in for a big surprise.
This has been my city for over 60 years and I don't ride anywhere dangerous, but nobody is going to tell me where or when I can ride in my town.
