addition, sorry my link is bad but it is a great article today at Business Week a journalist went with a billionaire to Karl's meeting ain Tampa where they talk about what type of voter they are going after.

The ones that vote GOP are the older ones and they're dying off. I'm not cheering that fact in any way, but it is true. The GOP is a failed party and won't exist in 15 years. That said, I'm sure another right-wing party will take over and probably with much better ideas. That could be a challenge. Politics evolves just like everything else. The Democratic party has evolved from wimpology to "Do Your Best, Asshole!" in less than four years. Opposition is a positive thing. Without it, you're stuck with fascism - and that's the GOP goal.

Yeah, I'm hard core on this one and I consider myself a conservative. But the Democratic party is far better for the country and far more conservative in the ways I consider to be important. The GOP has expired. (Disclaimer: I'm socially liberal)
