So here we are again today down here at the diner again, waiting for Flo to refill our coffee while we talk about all the things happening
One thing that is happening is that a lot of shooting is happening
I have heard that some people think all this shooting might somehow be related to guns
But other people say that we cannot blame guns because everyone should be able to have forty or fifty AK-47s at home, plus also some shotguns and pistols, and ten thousand rounds of ammo, just in case their house is burglarized or maybe they might want to go squirrel hunting sometime
So it is a very complex thing, and hard to understand, which is why we are sitting here with our foreheads all wrinkly from thinking, while we wait for Flo to refill our coffee, but she seems to be mad that we did not leave a tip last time, so maybe we will have to talk louder
But anyway we should at least try to do something, when there is a lot of shooting, so that we at least look like we are trying to do something
Many have been sending thoughts and prayers, but now some people have so many thoughts and prayers that they do not know what to do with them all anymore, so they think they have enough of them for right now
So we are talking about what to send if we do not send thoughts and prayers
One idea we are discussing is to send guns and ammo, and maybe a nice sympathy card, like "We were so very sad to hear about all the shooting that has been in your neighborhood, and we really thought we should do something, but we didn't want to blame guns, so we decided to send you guns and ammo" and sign it with a smiley face sticker
