(20,133 posts)2. I always had hydrocodone prescribed but the after effect is a bummer.
Now I get Tramadol, and it doesn't give you a cruddy feeling when you come off of it.
On edit: But just imagine a plant derived natural non narcotic pain reliever. Yes!

(64,979 posts)3. My doc moved me from hydrocodone, which I used in small doses for years with no problems,
no increase, to Tramadol, which barely took the edge off the pain. Then he decided to take me off Tramadol, too, so I spend a lot of time lying down. I can't do much anymore. Too much pain.
