Ben Carson is on America This Week. I know, I know who the host is. Just watching to remind me of how annoying and revolting Carson is. Gotta go get a barf bag. 🤤

(20,212 posts)No, not familiar with that. Will check. it out. Public TV offers British shows which I enjoy. There's a subscription called Brit Box, but haven't done that yet. Trying to straighten out aspects of my current life.
Thx for the FYI.

(344 posts)They run a lot of commercials and there isn't much original content, but they have The Young Turks, a lot of standup comedy, and I've watched several documentaries there.

Roku is expanding its reach beyond its own set-top-boxes and media streaming sticks. You can now access its free film and TV service, The Roku Channel, on PC, Mac, mobile and tablet - basically, anything with a web browser.

(20,212 posts)It wasn't charitable of me the thoughts directed at comatose carson. [Sadistic streak?] I dint realize he still was trying to function in the government. I do not subject myself such as this on a regular basis. There's that.

(102,116 posts)I can usually find something on their Prime video to watch.
I also have a Roku and will stream free youtube videos--especially music and occasionally some of the free movie/tv content from Pluto or the other free apps associated.
Most of the paid apps (HBO, Netflix, STARZ, ShowTime and the British content purveyors) offer 7 day free trials. I've done several of those because they actually DO make it easy to cancel as long as you put a reminder sticky or something up to do so on day 6 or so. (you still get the 7th day).
