about 1 month ago after huge rains.. the beach was piled high with tons of fresh tree limbs and drift wood from the Kealia river.

There's still a lot there but there's more beach to walk on.

It was quite the sight.. I had never seen much driftwood there and then suddenly the beach was blanketed and piled High with all kinds of shapes and sizes!

This isn't the beach but you can get an idea by shortening the distance and the wood piled HIGHER! NO Kidding!



I was out there walking anyway when there was barely any room to walk.

Its frightening to know just how powerful and effective the 'vast right wing conspiracy' can be. As soon as she made it clear she was interested in running for President, they went into full metal jacket. Sometimes loud and outrageous accusations, but mostly a slow drip of constant fake news and conspiracy theories pounded out daily on RW radio for years. To the point that, even though she was still popular with Democrats, she had greater and greater negative numbers, untrustworthy numbers. After the credits the film makers did a little cafe interview with the president and first lady about their new venture. Man...he looks so good and relaxed, and it was so good to hear both of them bright and hopeful and engaged. Watching it was like remembering an age gone by, a better one, though it wasn't even very long ago. Obama seems younger, I feel so much older.
