Although I suspect there's a trick to doing it, like flying with the wind and corkscrewing in because they've been doing it for decades.

My husband used to fly single airplanes and always filed an IFR Flight plan. Any amount of turbulence is enough to have your stomach in your throat. Flying in clouds with strong winds aloft will feel like someone taking the wing struts and lifting you up 20 feet then dropping you down like a ton of bricks. The feeling is terrifying no matter the type of aircraft one is in.

Unless extreme turbulence doesn't bother you.

They are the ones responsible for the Storm surge along coastlines because of the counter clockwise motion.

The contrast between deafening wind and rain to total silence is a bizarre feeling. One storm I watched my corn field go from flattened to the west and then after the silent eye, be lifted and flattened to the east.

It sounds like the farmers are trying to harvest what they can before the storm gets here. I know my corn is ready but doesn’t look very promising this year. We didn’t get rain during the critical time making the ears fewer and smaller.

Between the storm and the tariffs I'm not expecting much this year.

She had a gorgeous stadium inner eyewall as well. I say 'gorgeous', but that's only if you're not in it's path. These storms are fascinating. The amount of power contained within them is astronomical.
