Went with a friend and had no idea who he was at the time. To this day, it’s my #1 concert I’m so damn glad I got to see.

I saw him in Boston when he was with Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes. Some Club, (?, still thinking), so close to them, I could touch them.

1979 was an arena show. We were in the tenth row but that’s nothing like seeing the Blue Notes at a club.
