Those poor people.
My first hurricane made landfall at night.
No power.
The only light was lightning, broken power lines and transformer explosions.
Absolutely terrifying.

Grand Bahamas island is getting obliterated
Reading that only buoys are providing weather data at this point. Researchers are having problems finding active weather stations on the island
