That site's not very user friendly.

7. When you pull up a report (for instance, "Browse Receipts")...

there is a left sidebar that has additional filters you can add, including Name, Zip, City, etc.

4. I used to look up donors using opensecrets.org

They would give you donors by zip code, which helped me see who was giving to whom in my town. No longer. Now you have to input specific names.

Btw, when I looked up my own name, I was kind of stunned by how much I’ve donated to Dems over the last decade.

... the search worked for TRUMP, DONALD. Notice the all capital letters. I had searched, "Trump, Donald J." and it gave me a, "no results", page.

But this result did show up on the, "TRUMP, DONALD", search page: 10 STACKS TO THE FIRST MFER WHO HITS DONALD TRUMP WITH A MILKSHAKE

There's a lot of info available on that FEC website, it's actually sort of shocking. However it's running very slowly right now, I guess because everybody is on it.

has receipts for multiple contributions in one week. $3.75? $15? Then a week later $5.00? Who is expending that much energy to send paltry sums constantly?
