Plus I'd never worry about turbulence again

(4,416 posts)Ive already had enough turbulence in my years of flying, that I have no interest in getting anywhere near flying into a hurricane intentionally.

But strangely, I love jumping out of planes. It's so much more extreme it breaks my fear.
I imagine this would be the same.

(16,356 posts)I enjoy turbulence and a good ride and I also like studying weather phenomena. It would be right up my alley.
Oh, and I also don't like heights and am phobic of helicopters and balloons but am a glider pilot. Go figure.

(23,283 posts)Tailgating a semi, because it was squeegeing a path through the water on the highway, can't see anything but the semi's tail lights through the driving rain, fighting the wheel all the way into Georgia because of the wind.
And Elena was still sitting offshore, in the Gulf.
No thanks. I'll stay on the ground, holding onto the umbrella in my drink.
