But you know this.
They have a lot of nerve to point fingers like this.

(50,269 posts)directly go after Trump or his merry band of idiots on anything? Rarely. Some of the candidates are weighing in, but the rank and file seem to be hunkered down in make no waves mode. It really makes me furious sometimes.

(50,269 posts)time the Idiot-In-Chief opens his mouth he trashes Obama. Every time that happens I would like every Democrat within range of a camera and microphone to scream bloody murder. If it takes saying something outrageous to get on television, say something outrageous. Drop the "F" bomb the way Beto did the other day. Sadly, we're still at the point where some elected Democrats keep uttering the BS about working with Republicans. I'm sick of it.

Control the media and you control the message.
Control the message and you control the people.

(9,090 posts)1500 radio stations from his 600. democrats need to go on offense and destroy the rw talk radio monopoly that takes free potshots at dem reps and ideals all day long. there is no challenge from the left. we cannot collectively say we're getting any dem reps back as long as the progressive groups and dem party ignore talk radio. limbaug has been screaming about a deep state coup led by obama and clinton and soros for nearly 3 fucking years getting death threats sent their way and polluting jury pools and enabling and intimidating judges for any investigation and now that shit graham and others are predictably pushing to get obama under oath.
to me that's what's been pathetic for 30 years.
what would get their attention is protests and boycotts of RW radio stations and protests at the universities that support them

They used to do this more. But they give up. Because the press doesn't report this, or get Dems on their shows.

(25,471 posts)The criticism has been pretty persistent. It just doesn't get coverage because it's drowned out by Trump and his merry band of morons. That's by design, of course.

(50,269 posts)Call a press conference, erect microphones in front of the Capitol, call Trump names if it takes uttering his name to get attention. Anything!

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/no-sense-of-empathy-harris-scolds-trump-for-golfing-as-hurricane-approaches/ar-AAGHWQh?li=BBnb7Kz
The California senator was responding to questions about whether the president was responding appropriately to a deadly shooting in Texas on Saturday and an impending hurricane. "He just does not have the ability to really have a sense of empathy for people who are enduring hardship or enduring pain," she said of the president, and described the fact that he played golf today as "not surprising."
Harris echoed previous comments she had made about Trump last month. "He generally shows no evidence of any natural ability to have empathy," Harris said of Trump during an Aug. 8 interview on CNN, just after fatal shootings in Texas and Ohio. "I think that this president doesn't really have the capacity to have empathy, and my heart goes out to not only the families, but also the leaders of those communities who are trying to pull it together and stand strong."
The senator also alluded to what she perceived to be Trump's fixation on size, noting his robustly attended campaign rallies. "His preoccupation with size, I'll leave that for someone else to analyze," Harris said. "But I will say that this president has used the platform that is given to the office of president of the United States in a way that has been about trying to divide our country."

(8,731 posts)Sick of these coastal Govenors staging pressers surrounded by props that day nothing and telling us they have spoken to trump and he is observing the situation and is committed to help. FUCK TRUMP! He does not give a damn. He stole FEMA money. He will show up with paper towels and Play Dough for photos. If you tell me you spoke to trump, you are an idiot and I have no confidence you know a damn thing either.

(4,392 posts)Gregg Shorthand awards for stenography at this month's 50th reunion? LOL! I hope to have evolved in maturity. I too find the "both-sides" premise unconscionable, and have eliminated a few social media "good" friends I thought were educated enough to know better than sit on the fence about racism, lies, and corruption. The menace in the WH and Senate has to go. The media can't have it both ways. Let's color this election Blue!
