and they can request that it be removed from the ads served. It's one of the few things Ask the Administrators forum is still good for. It's in the 3rd bullet point.

(They can't block it in advance, but once it appears they can block it)

Doesn’t DU get more if it gets clicked on? Makes for a small transfer of money into our (collective) pocket from theirs.

It's just that it's IP checked to make sure there isn't gaming, so it will only count 1 click per day.
