Landaus tweet drew a mixture of responses. Some of the 1,600 comments were supportive, and accused the government of President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador of emerging from the same Marxist tradition.
Landaus following on the online platform jumped to more than 76,000 on Monday from about 40,000 before the tweet.
Others were clearly irked, and blasted the United States for its long history of interfering in the internal affairs of Latin America and other countries around the globe, often to counter socialist governments.

He attended the American School of Asunción, Paraguay, for five years, where he learned his fluent Spanish.[4] He graduated from Groton School in Groton, Massachusetts, summa cum laude, in 1981.

And no, I am not exaggerating or being sensationalist as we move from covert to overt regarding that ideology.
The hypocrisy is strong with these ones. One look at how things are going here and America no longer has any right to criticize other countries about their ideologies, past or present. Those days are over and its time to look in the mirror.
Any attempts to do so, in my opinion, are vapid attempts to distract us and the World from our decline into that.
