The Ave Maria being sung by a beautiful voice in what I assume are headphones of a father while his kids are just extremely noisy. Its an Amazon advertisement!!!!!!! I thought isnt anything sacred anymore? its the Ave Maria.....one of the most beautiful songs ever sung. I might be wrong but damn that to me is pretty damn low. My brother sang this song at my mothers funeral, and had the whole congregation bawling. Damn, just really pissed me off Amazon using this song in this advertisement.

(118,022 posts)evening when we saw some people going inside. So we followed. It was full and someone was singing that song from a balcony way up high above the set of front doors. So there is good going on with Ava Maria being sung beautifully somewhere, all the time. It was a wonderful moment.

(12,712 posts)with the Internet and all that, right now, there is something somewhere that can offend anyone at anytime.
It seems that being offended is now being deprecated somewhat. I guess we have to find something else to do
Maybe we can be overjoyed, instead.

(160,219 posts)for their crappy, trendy, cheesy junk products, it drives me wild. God, I hate that. I always rush to mute the sound in every dammed case. Sometimes I only have to hear one note and can mute the sound instantly.
Deeply insulting.
Thanks for your post. I am so glad to hear there's someone else who finds this raw greedy grab for something almost spiritual to sell their trash is impossible to accept.

(756 posts)Ave Maria should somehow be protected. You don't see depictions of Jesus or Mohammed selling used cars, but Buddhist ideas and imagery are used and abused.
The Stars and Stripes are everywhere and increasingly associated with excluding others.
Out of the many ONE.
I was angered when I saw a shoes (made with slave labor) advertisement using NASA footage of a Saturn V launch.
I am 100% in favor of nonviolent assembly to redress our govt for grievances. Three cheers Colin Kaepernick but shoe sales should be separate.
