With that terrifyingly high water beating at the windows and doors, there appears to be no seepage. I don't think many of the houses we live in could withstand that.

Absolutely terrifying: like living in an aquarium.

The indigenous folks built circular homes because of hurricanes.
The MP looks like he has hurricane proof windows - good to see but as you pointed out - not too many folks can afford this.

There was a bamboo circular restaurant on Old Hope Road in Jamaica that survived while all the fancy concrete homes were destroyed during Gilbert back in 1988.

When Maria hit Dominica two years ago the Prime Minister lost his entire home (they were hit at 165mph).
