I think the amount is equal to one month's expenses. Projects will be delayed by one month. secondwind Sep 2019 #5

would have provided?

The people making the decision to divert those funds a) aren't directly harmed by it, and b) think pleasing Der Trumpenfuhrer and Repukes will lead them to a better defense/other-federal-spending contractor job once they leave the agency than refusing and getting fired/transferred laterally would.

TLDR version: Self-preservation and/or selfishness, and a lack of integrity.

I have thought about this. If we encourage the military to fight everything stupid, how long will it take for an eventual military coup if the military does not like Presidential directives? We have to get rid of Trump via the ballot box, sorry but that is the only real choice.

The president is the Commander in Chief.

The court OK’ed it. They have no say.

I guarantee they hate it. We have real infrastructure needs and based still wrecked by hurricanes.

But they have to follow legal orders.
