Election 2019: NRA hands $200,000 to VA Republicans after blocking gun safety session.

Lust moments ago, we learned that the NRA has invested more than $200,000 into the Virginia House Republican Majority Leader's warchest – rewarding the GOP for their unabashed loyalty.
This is the largest single donation the NRA has made in Virginia since the Virginia Public Access Project began tracking campaign finance in the 1990s.
The NRA has long relied on the GOP to kill any type of gun legislation. After being called to a special session to enact commonsense gun safety measures this year, Republicans adjourned the session after 90 minutes – without voting on a single bill. And the gun lobby had a front-row seat to watch the inaction – right in the Republican speaker's conference room.
