This appeared in the Atlanta Journal Constitution today. And the pukes say whites against blacks is a dead issue!State and local law enforcement are preparing for a gathering in downtown Dahlonega on Sept. 14 organized by white supremacists who have advertised it as a rally in support of President Trump.
The organizer is Chester Doles, a north Georgia resident with decades of experience as a white power activist. Doles is a former member of the Ku Klux Klan and was an organizer for the National Alliance, a mostly defunct white supremacist group with deeply anti-Semitic and anti-immigrant beliefs.
Fliers for the event shared on social media prominently feature smiling pictures of Trump, but Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., who represents the region, is not fooled. Collins is listed as an invited speaker at the event, but the Republican congressman made his feelings clear in a statement this week.

(9,706 posts)Dahlonega is a pretty little town with a good-sized state university in it. My father donated a bunch of Native American artifacts to the Gold Museum when it first opened there. I'm sure the counter-protesters will outnumber the "supporters of President Trump." If I could arrange for a ride, I might consider joining the antifa contingent heaping scorn and shame upon the fascists. There's a gorgeous waterfall between here and there and a lot of scenic southern Appalachian vistas.

(54,770 posts)County went only 18% for Clinton. God bless them, Im in a similar area. Not surprisingly, educational levels are kind of low too.
Hopefully, there will be a low turnout, but still, its disgusting.
Collins will be there in spirit.
