(66,293 posts)rather than vote for Hillary Clinton.
Not even the spit-spraying hate-monsters.
Just the ones who claimed to be "concerned" about her e-mails and the server she used to send them.

(7,277 posts)without thinking of 'concerned' trolls. I've cut that word out of my vocabulary

(2,116 posts)....in the corporate world and sat in weekly staff meetings, there was always naysayers who would cast doubt on projects and plans by saying "I've got some real concerns about this" without ever offering any solutions. When I confronted them by asking for their suggestions, they usually stumbled badly and backpedaled on their critique.

(9,886 posts)to have concerns if one doesn't have viable solutions? The two strike me as quite different. When I was in the corporate world, meetings were hot beds of hare-brained ideas. Most of which should never have been attempted in the first place, let along required alternative solutions.
Although I do agree about never hearing about concern again. It has been turned from something that might mean you're looking a little deeper at a situation to some kind of slur meaning I'm not sure what. I was called a concern troll about a week before the 2016 election for being concerned (I didn't use the word) that Trump might win the election (I was not alone) based on some stuff I was seeing that was admittedly anecdotal, but had me...concerned. So I'm not sure what horrible thing I and others had done that warranted being called what was a slur. All I know is that when I hear about concern trolls I alternate between wanting to drive a sharp sticks into my ear and

(66,293 posts)I have a great deal of respect for the study of law, but I never had any interest in pursuing it as a career.

(7,277 posts)My Dad used to rage against the 'malignant incompetence' of hospital administrators, and thought black letter law could bring them to heel. He was wrong of course. By the time Dad reached 90, I had come to terms with my fluffy fantasies of actually helping people. We didn't talk about it much, just agreed to agree that shit is shit.

(66,293 posts)Someone once said that "95% of everything is crap."
I believe that's true.
But as long as people are striving for that 5%, the human race has a chance...
