Most people get their weather from TWC or their local news. I doubt that many people made plans based on Trump's claim. Not even his biggest fans.

Over the years it is apparent to me Conservatives/Rs create their own belief system and artificial reality no matter the facts. For two reasons I believe: one is because that is how they function--don't deal with facts well and gut feelings prevail; two the elites who wish to get their way manipulate the R's via AM radio, FOX and Rush on what to think and then build a schizophrenic house of cards to prop it up. Trump is a Möbius strip distributing then believing unsupportable beliefs his gut sends him.
