What about the lie?

With the Alabama Sharpiegate the real issue should be that Trump claimed he didn’t know who drew the black line around Alabama. He was asked directly who did it and he replied “I don’t know” two or three times.

You see, there are conservatives out there defending him because it looked like it was headed for Alabama, but there will be no wiggle room for them once its determined that Trump lied about drawing the line.

And btw, anyone else notice that Trump’s eyes disappear behind his fatty eyelids when he lies?

Trump was flat out wrong. Any normal human being would have just said, "Oops, my bad; didn't mean to include Alabama," and let it go at that. Trump is stubbornly clinging to his stupid mistake, insisting it wasn't wrong, and a chorus of courtiers like Sean Hannity are all trying to convince us that the Emperor's New Clothes are the finest, most exquisite apparel ever seen.

Give it up, Donald. You're wrong and you know it.

He is digging in his heels and insisting Trump did nothing wrong by lying about Alabama and then engaging in illegal post hoc justification for the lies by altering a forecast model.

Why did he do nothing wrong? Because it's no big deal.

I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill out of a stupid weather report. Apparently because I can't get Russian collusion, paying off hookers, and child rape to stick I'm resorting to a silly old weather report to hang Trump. I'm the crazy one because I think it's important to have presidents who tell the truth, can admit when they are wrong, and don't break federal law in an astoundingly stupid way to justify lying - but all he sees is someone hung up on a weather forecast when meteorologists get it wrong all the time just because I hate Trump and will grasp at anything to impeach him on.

This is really how the Trumpist sees it.

Trump followers don't care and he knows it. How long will it be until we learn that?
