"SNIP......
President Trumps aides and confidants are growing more and more concerned about his mental state following days of erratic behavior, wild outbursts, and bizarre fixations, Business Insider reports.
Said one former White House official: No one knows what to expect from him anymore. His mood changes from one minute to the next based on some headline or tweet, and the next thing you know his entire schedule gets tossed out the window because hes losing his shit.
They believe that his frustration is compounded by stress about the 2020 election and the economys recent downturn.

If they can impeach Clinton on an alleged consensual BJ, then I think we have plenty to go on.
Probably a dozen other things I haven't mentioned. Being a nut case would fall under the scope of the 25th Amendment. The man is absolutely unfit for office.

(58,785 posts)trial and then continue afterwards, maybe receive word of his exoneration of all charges on one of his golf courses, but make a big national announcement from the oval office about how the Democrats' plot to overthrow the government failed. Then he'd go on a congratulatory campaign round of rallies to packed, cheering arenas, which we know he loves above everything.
How about fuck hot air and pointless yammering of angry frustration?
IF Trump doesn't decompensate too far, and it still seems fairly likely he won't, his self preservation instincts will kick in more strongly. He has to get reelected for whatever reasons he imagines in his disordered mind, but one of them is to keep from facing serious criminal charges as a private citizen.
My best guess is that this will cause him to agree to eventually bring in a new chief of staff, another Kelly, to restore some order, and that he'll do what he's told he has to at least some of the time.
If he can't pull himself together to function better, McConnell & company's self protective instincts, always fully engaged, may well cause them to change course. Large numbers of people are now wondering about his mental state (like the people of Alabama who watch hurricane reports), and that, combined with findings of our investigations and hearings, could cause the critical increase in support for removal.
