Trump to hold campaign rally in New Mexico

President Trump’s reelection campaign announced Friday he will hold a rally in Rio Rancho, N.M. on Sept. 16 at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, a multipurpose facility that says it seats approximately 6,000 for hockey and rodeos and up to 7,500 for concerts.

“We have seen an economic boom in New Mexico since President Trump took office. While President Obama lost 1,900 jobs, President Trump has added 34,600 jobs in the state,” said Michael Glassner, Chief Operating Officer of the Trump campaign. “President Trump has delivered on his promises, and he looks forward to celebrating those successes with the great men and women of New Mexico.”

Trump will face an uphill battle in New Mexico, known as the Land of Enchantment – the state went for Hillary Clinton in 2016 by over 8 points and voted for Barack Obama both in 2008 and 2012.

The state also has a heavy Latin American population, with Hispanics making up 46.4 percent of the entire state, and borders Mexico, making it a prime staging ground for a fight over the administration’s hardline immigration policies.

a few weeks. Bob Murray needs another $5000 a plate dinner for him. When I first saw that I read Mexico they would give him a proper rally.

I'm pretty sure it's Juan. But it might be Pedro. He's from New Mexico. Flagstaff, I think. Or maybe El Paso. Or Needles -- it's probably Needles. He just loves the taco bowls at the Trump Tower Grill. People come from all over the world to try our taco bowls. Pedro says -- I think that's his name -- Pedro -- or Juan. He says he just loves my taco bowls. Good friend. Very very good friend. So we're building a wall. You may have heard about it. It's to help my very good friends Juan and Pedro. In fact, Juan called me on the phone to thank me. I just got off the phone with him. Very good friend. Pedro. Or Juan. Whatever his name is"

So the polluted air from fracking in the southern part of the state is making it's way up the state. Now we have some ozone problems starting. Nothing mega like Phoenix, but it's beginning to F@#K with our air.

However, NM is very blue.

Although 2018 saw a Democrat boot out the GOP US Representative Steve King, now state head of the NM GOP.
We also had a GOP Tea Party governor for 8 years until 2018.

However Trump is having his rally in Democratic northern NM.
In a 6,000 to 7,500 seat concert hall.
