MILWAUKEE In an exclusive interview Friday, Former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker told WISN 12 News his 25-year-old son Matt Walker is considering a run for Wisconsins 5th congressional district after Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner announced he wouldnt seek re-election in 2020.
Well, hes had a number of people reach out to him, Scott Walker told Adrienne Pederson in a taping for UPFRONT. I think in particular what intriguers him is he feels frustrated that AOC (Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez) somehow nationally is reflective of his generation. Hes 25 and he feels there needs to be a counter-voice to that.
Scott Walker said Matt Walker, who is a partner and co-founder of Platform Digital, has asked his opinion in recent days about a potential bid.
Well, personally, when he asked me about it the other day I gave him the advice you might not think of necessarily politically, Scott Walker said. I said one you need to pray about it. If its Gods will to get in or not get in youll figure that out first and foremost.
Scott Walker also mentioned State Sen. Scott Fitzgerald and former State Sen. Leah Vukmir as potential top-tier candidates, calling Fitzgerald a longtime ally of mine.
Scott Walker said he also told his son that he would first need to consult with his girlfriend and business partners before making a decision.

And what use is it being the son of a corrupt GOPer if you can't use it to be a corrupt GOPer yourself?

(6,916 posts)The only things Scott Walker is good at are: lies, propaganda and hurting working people to enrich his donors.
Luckily, Scott can do all those things without being very educated. No need to understand complex policy issues when you're just out to listen to the Koches and screw everyone else!
Did his son follow down his dad's path of skipping education, and instead getting trained in lying and taking wingnut welfare jobs?
