Trump is batshit crazy and corrupt enough already to tell thousands of lies, blackmail foreign countries, use the US military to enrich his real estate properties, obstruct justice, break federal election laws, pay porn stars hush money, use American taxpayers to finance his golf outings, and poison our environment just to name a few. Imagine what he might do if he suffers a crushing defeat in the 2021 election. Just thinking about it makes me want to take an extra BP pill.

Pence, imagining that in the two months he has ahead, he can doubtlessly install his theocracy, or at least harass some gay weddings, says yes.

Trump resigns and goes off to a very expensive nursing home. Pence pardons. Madame President takes office.

Pence's career is sunk. (Look what happened to a much-more likeable Ford after pardoning.)

Hard to comprehend or predict just how messed up things could be. I actually believe at this point Trump is a real threat to the USA as a Democratic Republic. Trump is more than willing to be a permanent dictator and have his spawn continue in hereditary leadership of the USA.

If the USA survives this era with its ideals intact, Pelosi will be judged harshly by the historians for taking "impeachment off the table" regards GWB and her time now as Speaker now regards Trump.
