Just curious, cause in my state the GOP idiots are not having their usual primary.

(25,848 posts)Sometimes a party doesn't have either, especially in a year where the incumbent president is running for re-election. Delegates to the national convention always get selected some way or another.
Each party has their own rules and regulations, at both the state and national level.
