that's like saying open carry is for girls with little titties. You can't change your dick size and I can't change my breast size unless I add filler. I just don't see the point.

1995 - "This meeting marked the birth of the modern militia movement that would tie well-armed radicals to gun advocates in a right-wing national network"

Armed and Dangerous (The NRA, Militias and White Supremacists are fostering a network of right wing warriors)
Rolling Stone Magazine/November 2, 1995
By Leonard Zeskind

"The second amendment ain't about duck hunting," Larry Pratt began. The crowd of 150 neo-Nazis and self-described Christian patriots laughed. Looking like a slightly rumpled accountant, Pratt, the executive director of the Washington, D.C., organization should be able to own the military assault weapon of his choice - and form a militia to back up his rights. It was October 1992, and the men - and they were all men - had traveled thousands of miles from more than 14 states, sometimes sleeping in their cars, to Estes Park, Colo., a resort town two hours from Denver, at the eastern entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Some of those who attended had already been to jail for their cause, and others were prepared to go. Although many of the participants had met before, this gathering was different. This meeting marked the birth of the modern militia movement that would tie well-armed radicals to gun advocates in a right-wing national network.

<snip>

Guns were Pratt's focus, but they weren't the meeting's only topic. The audience listened to speakers who mixed calls for "Christian resistance" with warnings of concentration camps for "patriots." The men gathered in committees that issued reports with conclusions like, "Vigilante action is scriptural." Richard Butler, the aging chief of Aryan Nations, in Idaho's north woods, told the group, "I have to confess to you, I am a bigot."

"I am a 100 percent bigot," he added for emphasis.

The change in strategy meant one thing: It signaled the transformation of the gun lobby. Organizations like GOA or even the National Rifle Association, which were devoted to the single issue of firearms, would become the leading edge of a far right, multi-issue assault on government institutions and democratic rights. The gun lobby would be at the center of a web of right-wing warriors.

About 30 years worth of drumming up hatred.

All of this happened before I was even born too. Decades of hate, white power, and gunner confluences in the making.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Pratt

Lawrence D. Pratt (born November 13, 1942) is the executive director emeritus of Gun Owners of America, a United States-based firearms lobbying group, and a former member of the Virginia House of Delegates.

Pratt was elected to the state legislature of Virginia, as a Republican member of the 1981 session of the Virginia House of Delegates, elected from the 19th District in Fairfax County. He was also a Reagan delegate to the 1980 Republican National Convention.[2]

In October 1992, at Estes Park, Colorado, Pratt was noted as a moderate conservative presenter at a three-day meeting organized by Christian Identity pastor Pete Peters in the wake of the Ruby Ridge incident.

In the 1996 U.S. presidential election, Pratt served as a co-chairman of Pat Buchanan's campaign. In February 1996, the liberal Center for Public Integrity issued a report that claimed Pratt spoke at meetings organized by white supremacist and militia leaders. Pratt was forced to resign his position with the Buchanan campaign.

In Northern Ireland in 2004, Pratt accompanied loyalist and paramilitary sympathizer Willie Frazer on a tour of South Armagh whilst calling for the Protestant population to be routinely armed.

but, sadly, we guys have been obsessed about the size of our dicks since, er.... the big bang, and the fabled big dick of the big bang, 'cause, you know GOD had a BIG dick, or he wouldn't be god, and all....

I believe, generally, if guys could have them made to order, many would be pushing wheelbarrows...

But I must say, that ad does make me HOT!!! It is SOOOOOOO homoerotic!!! And they have NO CLUE that it is...

edit to add: actually, GOD would have to be a hermaphrodite, since humans (both male and female) were made in ITS image....

I'm just sayin' ...

"It's just a blood flow problem!" See, you're not less of a man!

Sad that this ego-stroking is so needed.

And I like how being vegetarian is the opposite of owning an assault rifle. What a country...

Or guys with ED. Some of those guys get totally obsessed with it and I guess they think that looking like a bad ass biker, or a bad ass white supremacist or driving a huge truck makes people think they are really macho.

Dangerous to mock manly men about their manly toys and manly ways of showing them off in manly public places. To mock a manly man's gun . . . I mean, it's just not manly.

I'd write more but I have to take my manly gun and visit a Burger King for a discussion about meatless burgers, if you get my very manly meaning.

How Joni Ernst’s ad about ‘castrating hogs’ transformed Iowa’s U.S. Senate race

URBANDALE, Iowa — Joni Ernst was lagging behind in the race for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate here in Iowa. She was a relative unknown in a crowded field led by a wealthy businessman. Then she started talking about castrating hogs.

Ernst spent just $9,000 to air her first television ad, but her testimonial — “I grew up castrating hogs on an Iowa farm” — and her promise to apply those pork-cutting skills to “make ’em squeal” in Washington transformed her candidacy.
