...a "low rated, low energy show" that he never watches.
President Donald Trump insists he doesnt watch MSNBCs Morning Joe, but he frequently tweets out complaints that betray his loyal viewership of the show hosted by two of his former friends.
Mark Sanford, the former South Carolina governor and congressman, appeared Monday to tell hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski about his Republican primary campaign against the president and Trump ranted about the segment minutes later on Twitter.
When the former Governor of the Great State of South Carolina, @MarkSanford, was reported missing, only to then say he was away hiking on the Appalachian Trail, then was found in Argentina with his Flaming Dancer friend, it sounded like his political career was over, Trump tweeted.
It was, but then he ran for Congress and won, only to lose his re-elect after I Tweeted my endorsement, on Election Day, for his opponent, the president continued. But now take heart, he is back, and running for President of the United States. The Three Stooges, all badly failed candidates, will give it a go!

Chapur responded on Facebook: President Trump, with all respect Flamingo (sic) is a Spanish dance, Spain is situated geographically in the European continent (just in case you ignore it) Tango is the Argentinian dance .though for sure you dont care at all.

(16,887 posts)And meanwhile the irony isnt lost that Trump is criticizing Sanford for his Argentinian affair - this from a man who has had so many affairs ranging from Porn stars to playmates in between assaulting and raping women....
That actually makes Mark Sanford safe in running against Trump...

(54,354 posts)Still, in his position, I would probably have looked for something other to do than challenge Trump in the Republican primary. His phrase about the Republican party having "lost its way" is one that the Trumpanzees will have a field day tossing back in his face in about fifty different variations.

When I first met Richard Viguerie--who is, after all, the prince of darkness and a total right wing pteranodon--I was ready to have a shouting match with him. Instead I had breakfast with him. Now, some 20 years later, he gives me a big bear hug when he sees me, and he knows I'm (to him) a loony left wing libbrul maniac. Richard says he "knows when to leave his guns at the door." He's originally from Texas, so he's allowed to use phrases like that.
Adrian Cronauer was another. Deeply intellectual, calm, well-spoken, great sense of humor (as you'd expect of Mr. "Good Morning Vietnam" ), multi-faceted, broad spectrum of interests, deep knoweldge of history--and a Republican. Adrian's IQ was (I estimate) about double mine, so I had no chance of talking him out of it.

(18,837 posts)...and if he hadn't slunk out of the building with his tail between his legs, onto a nice fat government pension, it would still be the party of Paul Ryan, too...but his stench remains, like when you're ten miles down the highway past that spot where the skunk was run over, and it's still in your vents.
While there is a fundamental difference between the Republican and Democratic platforms, you can't compare it to any previous administration. They've all sold their souls to the Apprentice guy, and those who wanted their souls back got out. That's basically the option for 2019 Republicans...you're all in, either vocally or through silent complicity, or you're out. No third option.

(10,252 posts)to "look at what you find repulsive." The point being to not be afraid and to maintain a calm abiding mind. To see what appears with discriminating insight. I am learning so much from Donald Trump, because what I see are profound Buddhist teachings on non-virtuous thoughts, words, and deeds, all fueled by self-cherishing, anger, and greed. He lives in a very dark, joyless place.

(18,837 posts)...he will live to be 100. Fred made it to 93. I don't care about his diet, his internal, self-destructive rage, his lack of exercise. He's a predator, and he lacks the ability to be anything else...just like dear old dad. He's in a very dark and joyless place, which is where most of the predators in the animal kingdom reside.

The asshole forgot to note that Sanford's Republican challenger, who he endorsed in the primary, Katie Arrington, went on to lose the general election to the Democratic candidate, Joe Cunningham. lol
