Tennessee state Sen. Kerry Roberts (R) said on a radio show that he supports getting rid of higher education because he argues it would cut off the “liberal breeding ground,” the AP reports.

He asserted that a woman activist arguing in favor of abortion rights was a “product of higher education” and claimed that getting rid of higher education would “save America.”

3. Alberta conservatives just stopped allowing public schools to call themselves public.

Guess they are going to remake education in canada too. Right now public schools are excellent. If the Conservatives don't destroy it we will keep being 2/3rds liberal. (Small l liberal who like the enlightenment). So you are not alone in having swamp things in government.
