What is the scientific rule/principle/theory....
...that states two huge assholes can only share the same space for a certain amount of time until they inevitably turn on one another?

Bat Shit Crazy people can only occupy the same space for X amount of time before the BSC starts to cancel out each other and then BSAC (bat shit angry AND crazy) overtakes the space occupied and consumes all within said space.
Given it was 17 months before BSAC took place in Bolton's case, 17 months is a "Bolton". That's 86.1 Scaramuccis...
