Something tells me Bolton will not take this lying down (he made even more comments that were not posted in the clip).

I actually think Trump's sarcastic response about Bolton was perfect. I'm sick of fake tough guys who hide behind desks and avoid their own wars yet get us into them.
Still though, Trump really should have looked at his record before he hired him. Total incompetence.

I don't believe he hired Bolton based on his knowledge of the man or on his own vetting process. Someone suggested him, and Trump is so lazy, he just went with it.

John Bolton, Fresh From Fox News, Joins the Trump Cast
Less than an hour after President Trump named John R. Bolton as his new national security adviser on Thursday, Mr. Bolton made an appearance in the venue where many Americans, including Mr. Trump, have come to know him over the past decade: Fox News.
I think I still am a Fox News contributor, Mr. Bolton, laughing, told the host Martha MacCallum at the start of a previously scheduled interview.
No, Ms. MacCallum clarified. Youre not.
You cant blame him for being a bit confused.
Mr. Bolton a featured commentator on Fox News since 2007, after his term as ambassador to the United Nations is the third TV personality in the past eight days to join Mr. Trumps it-came-from-the-small-screen White House team.

He's vile yes, but was fired because he wasn't a yes man, not because of who he is.
