Too large for a water pout, too isolated to be the eye of a hurricane.

6. That view is due south of the Florida coastline.

Dorian never got that far west. Also, the sound of the thunder can be heard at the same time the lightning strikes. If lightning struck that far away it probably wouldn't even be heard.
