Nothing like threatening to ban all US agricultural products. Spin away Don the incompetent Con.
Now we know why M$Greedia wasn't playing up the Chinese announcement that they were cutting off all US agricultural produce. This is a complete and total backdown by the fart of a deal maker. It's nothing but hot air.

They may have and I missed it, but frankly, why would they when the US is currently an extremely unreliable trade partner, subject to the whims of a toddler.

(3,299 posts)once you replace your buyers, why go back to the original unreliable purchaser?
This is the same problem with other "victims" of US trade wars and sanctions. Iran will eventually replace western purchasers under sanctions. China will absorb Iranian energy related trade markets. Now Trump vacillates on Iranian policy.
China may not have the economic horsepower of the US but it has enough depth to seriously impair selected US markets. There is in a practical sense, almost no limit on the harm trump and his team of china bashers can do to the US trade interests while they are trying to hobble Chinese economic expansion.
