He kicked a hornet's nest with this one. The cat is out of the bag. China will continue to be a dragon, strategically. He is giving them and Russia fuel for our fire and we burn.

The war he started is shuffling around whom trades what with whom. The changes, for the US, may be permanent, especially in regards to agriculture. The blow will be felt more as time goes by.

I suggest some rethinking here by farmers while they have the means to do so. Hemp might be one alternative I seriously don't think things are going back to the pre-tariff-tax days.

But, yes, he might make an inane statement like that.

I see no reason for any country to negotiate with this admin at this point. I think they will simply wait it out and hope for a return to sanity.

Ironically with 15 months to go, Trump may have already turned himself into a lame duck--at least on the international stage.

He manipulates the market with his tweets! Freely admitted it, and he's proud of it. When it does finally crash it will be a HUGH crash. It can't be artificially held up forever. We put all of our retirement into gold and silver already. Will take many years for the market to recover, imo.
