There might be some non-racist paranoid, scared gunners, but that shouldn’t bring any comfort.

I’m not particularly concerned about someone with a reasonable gun or two for hunting, target shooting, or home defense, as long as they don’t carry in public, have assault style weapons, get all excited about lethal accessories, etc.

4. Indeed. They fetishize the notion of a righteous kill.

They are ordinary people who fancy themselves some kind of Clint Eastwood hero who is in the right place at the right moment and saves the day with the awesomeness of gunz.

They train for years and years for the precious seconds where they kill a truly evil person and save their family, or a fair maiden, or a bus full of children. They dream of the parades thrown in their honor.


And completely unrelated to that, their heat of the moment, knee-jerk reaction to any sudden twitch of a person of color is that they're probably reaching for a weapon with malintent, so their "hero" training kicks in....
