tRump Loses Big As Appeals Court Restores Emoluments Case

A U.S. federal appeals court on Friday revived a lawsuit alleging President Donald Trump violated the U.S. Constitution by profiting from foreign and domestic officials who patronized his hotels and restaurants, adding to the corruption claims against Trump.

The New York-based 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals set aside a lower court ruling that had thrown out the case because the people who sued could not prove they were harmed by Trump’s actions and his role as president.

Friday’s ruling dealt with preliminary questions relating to whether the case should be heard, without directly addressing whether Trump violated the law. - PoliticusUSA

The law of OUR land may have been violated. The constitution protects us all, so we each have a stake in having it adhered to. Since a violation of the constitution does not necessarily involve a monetary loss, to me that should not be a factor in a case against a constitutional violation. That's not the law, but it makes sense to me!

He should lose it because the contract says any gov office holder can't own a piece of the hotel.

Swears emoluments will sink Trump if nothing else happens. This sinking includes losing the next election or dropping suddenly dead.
