Two and a half years ago, I bought a tee shirt that read "Not My President!" I still have it.

I still wear it. I still feel that way about Trump.

Hearing him referred to as "president" Trump still angers me. I know from past responses to posts like this one that some will cluck disgustedly that I am "ignoring reality---he IS the president!" And, to them I say fine---if you choose to honor and respect this "man" who knowingly benefitted from massive Russian meddling, well-financed and extensive voter suppression and the assistance of white supremacist groups and STILL lost the popular vote by nearly three million, that is your prerogative. In my opinion, he is and always will be an illegitimate usurper who thugged his way into the White House. Even Jimmy Carter has said as much.

Unless I am quoting someone, I try to scrupulously avoid calling "it" president. That he continues to squat in our White House is enough of an insult to all that is good and decent and honest. I will not normalize his ignorance, dishonesty and willful cruelty by pretending that this sonofabitch is anyone's *president.

And, that's all I have to say about that.

and they showed him on TV getting into a helicopter with the Presidential seal on it, I just lost it. I remember I got up and left the room in disgust. I couldn’t bear to see him like that. I still feel mountainous disgust any time he is referred to as “The President”. He disgraces the office every second he’s there. I feel your pain, Atticus. I will never accept this loathsome piece of shit as anything other than a loathsome piece of shit.

I bleed blue, my core says Hillary is the rightful 45th president.

And, like you, I remind people, WE ARE THE MAJORITY, always have been. The majority voted for Hillary Clinton. So eat that MAGAts!
