I want history to show that at least a part of Congress agreed that Trump and his administration were so corrupt that he deserved impeachment. Even if the Senate does not remove him, he will always be branded as having been impeached, and future generations will see that. I don't want history students 50 or a 100 years from now to think that he was just another president. I want him forever tarnished.

Nuremberg style tribunals for all, especially those who "followed orders" to separate families and out kids in cages, as well as the rampant corruption.

We need a president who will appoint an AG who will prosecute these things without mercy.

"Minority Report" I think. With real crime, you have to prosecute what happened in the past.

I hope the people at the top do time for putting children in cages. You know they will try to deny, deny, deny and throw the underlings in Border Patrol under the bus. "Oh, I didn't know what they would do. I thought they'd put them up in nice barracks or dormitories, and I for sure thought they would keep careful track of which children went with which adults." Yet they didn't provide money, or enough judges to process cases promptly, and made cruelty their policy to discourage refugees.

I hope President Warren gives George W. Bush and Dick Cheney to The Hague for war crimes as well.

Which is one of many reasons why I trust Pelosi, who, in June of this year, made her goal clear when she said "I want to see him in prison."

Me too.

about the bush crime family.
we got lucky with obama.
but now we're back to crime families again.

george bush was above the law.
dick cheney was above the law.
donald rumsfuck was above the law.
etc, etc, etc.

it's as if people we're so relieved bush was finally out of office they thought: why relive the past? let's just move on.

Few understand what is in their own economic self-interest, and that economics is distinct from religion, party, values, and vapes.

Coastal elites are apparently too timid to stand for liberty and against tyranny. Because that is what we have come to. A choice -- the choice that faced our founding fathers -- to either take on tyrants or kneel to kings in perpetuity. This is our time in the barrel.

If Trump is allowed to get away with this, it will set a terrible precedent. It will announce to all the sociopaths out there that the presidency is the way to enrich oneself at the expense of the American taxpayer. We are lucky that Trump is an idiot. The next Trump will not be an idiot.

Even if a Democrat wins in 2020, the U.S. will still have a hard time regaining the position it had in the world a three years ago. I've been listening to French and French-Canadian news. From the outside, people can't see the division within the United States. They see Trump and his insanity as representing all Americans. It will take a very long time to undo that damage.
