A Pennsylvania man who voted for President Donald Trump in 2016 told CNN on Friday that he’s bitterly disappointed in how he’s seen no progress in manufacturing jobs returning to his community.

John Golomb, a retired steel worker who backed the president in 2016 because of his promises to bring back good paying jobs to the Rust Belt, explained to CNN that Trump gave his community false hope about an economic revival during his first presidential campaign.

“We had Donald Trump come here and profess about reviving American steel,” he said. “That’s just what all of us steelworkers wanted to hear!”

In the nearly three years since the election, however, Golomb said he’s still waiting for Trump to fulfill his promises.

The evidence of this fact was out there and quite clear long before the election.

You deserve what you got. You bought the lies and hated the woman running for President just because she was a woman who told the hard truth.

a second term would be, when he Houdini's your health care and your social security. And you will still be waiting for your jobs to return. But at least you'll have your "guns" and no "socialism". Dumbass.

Guys like this WHO VOTE. We can't win 2020 without Pennsylvania. AAs in Philly recently talked about how they didn't vote in 2016 and how badly did that cost us?

Houdini exposed the tricks behind seances and other paranormal cons to separate people from their money by claiming to speak to their dead relatives and such.

His own line of work, stage magic and escape artistry, certainly employed plenty of misdirection, but that's the job: to amaze the audience and leave them wondering "how did he do that?" But he never pretended it was anything other than stage magic. He didn't exploit people's pain and desperation. Everyone who paid to see him was there for the show.

I just think it's a disservice to a fraud-buster to use his name to describe a colossal fraud.

thugs) made sure that their tax cuts for their crony Billionaires and Millionaires were legislated and placed into law.

Studies have refuted the so called promised additional jobs and other benefits ($4000 per household estimated on one account).

The economy despite the boost from the 2017 tax cut and jobs bill is still teetering (and after a run of 10+ years why not?)...people can't keep endlessly buying cars, houses, etc., especially when bills keep creeping up.

Of course the 2017 tax cut and jobs bill won't be repealed or 'kicked' back (that is, since benefits weren't delivered as promised, the legislation should be repealed)...

And of course the deficits are continuing, and if anything, are accelerating.
