I wondered...about the paradox: upstaging to downplay vs. strangeness?...one could believe that Clint has rediscovered his American roots and seeing/hearing the similarities between GOP policies-plots-plans and the 1930-1945 nazi policies-plots-plans, was horrified to his very soul that he had in the past contributed his support to reagan-conservatives-become-neofascist-antiamericans the likes of hitler's henchmen... having seen old B&W newsreels of nazi meetings, I shivvaa'd to see/hear the crowds response to the
hitler-fantasies-like speeches...
...and on a news tangent: tonight's news reported that a Massachusetts richguy owning a harley dealership put 3 billboards on his lawn with lighting/security cams to protect ...damning obama including utilizing an image of a young girl with her middle finger in an obscene gesture ....
by their acts so shall ye know them... the bunch of gop-supporters are every bit hitler's nazi regime redux...
no american should forget how many Americans as well as Europeans fought Hitler, lost their lives/permanently disabled, to save Democracy and Human Rights from the fascists .... no American can claim US Citizenship and vote for neofascists who plot to subvert the US Constitution-Bill of Rights and spit in the eyes of WWII Vets [dead/alive] ...
I wish DNC and Obama's reelection campaigners would get ahead of these dangerous neofascists...hitlet et co. sneaked into the german republic to overtake german democracy while the german people slept or were conned into nazi-membership to recoup 'germany uber alles' ....to recover from economic crisis/debt, to regain technical leadership, ... and while some didn't care who paid what price for their german pride recovery, others were just too afraid to fight the crowd and refuse to join the nazi party...and when the smell of burning bodies wafted across towns, they still turned away ... so that the few who attempted to save the jews from slaughter did so at the cost of their own lives...once the nazis were in control of absolute power over government, it was too late, and whatever they did they did with impunity...unchecked by no one...poland was overtaken...austria succumbed easily...france-belgium-spain an easy convert as was italy's mussolini-and UK was alone, begging the USA for help...UK solders slaughtered on the shores of france, rescued by townspeople who crossed the channel in tiny family boats to save their fellow british soldiers left to die on french shores under german overpowering military on the hills...a touching true story, will Americans empower neofascists ... will a few fight the fascists to stop the slaughter of American Democracy, burial of the US Constitution-Bill of Rights ... ? but what other country will save the USA from its own sellout to faschism... there will be non one strong enough to defeat such a coup d'etat....
...but we can defeat the fascists if we pull the wool from our eyes, open our ears and understand the consequences of what we hear...and fight the fascists taking control of the USA now....
and if we cannot win because the electoral college is bought out by fascist riches, ...then we must fight to take the loyal-to-the-USConstitution/Bill of Rights and leave the union ... the 13 colonies must unite and reform a union under the US Constitution ...
