NYT: "We also uncovered a previously unreported story about Mr. Kavanaugh in his freshman year"

Deborah Ramirez had the grades to go to Yale in 1983. But she wasn’t prepared for what she’d find there.

During the winter of her freshman year, a drunken dormitory party unsettled her deeply. She and some classmates had been drinking heavily when, she says, a freshman named Brett Kavanaugh pulled down his pants and thrust his penis at her, prompting her to swat it away and inadvertently touch it. Some of the onlookers, who had been passing around a fake penis earlier in the evening, laughed.

We also uncovered a previously unreported story about Mr. Kavanaugh in his freshman year that echoes Ms. Ramirez’s allegation. A classmate, Max Stier, saw Mr. Kavanaugh with his pants down at a different drunken dorm party, where friends pushed his penis into the hand of a female student. Mr. Stier, who runs a nonprofit organization in Washington, notified senators and the F.B.I. about this account, but the F.B.I. did not investigate and Mr. Stier has declined to discuss it publicly. (We corroborated the story with two officials who have communicated with Mr. Stier.)

Mr. Kavanaugh did not speak to us because we could not agree on terms for an interview. But he has denied Dr. Ford’s and Ms. Ramirez’s allegations, and declined to answer our questions about Mr. Stier’s account.

A song parody with kick ass lyrics, written on its YouTube post.

Here's just a snippet:

Lyrics:
Boofo, Boofo, the Supreme Court Judge
Everyone hates Buffo, but he’ll never hold a GRUDGE
Boofo, Boofo, the Supreme Court Judge
Little rough at parties, Wouldn’t even think to BUDGE
Shut up you little tease, Turn up the volume

Boofo he inherits Justice Roberts’ legacy
Sitting on judicial complaints except from Donny T.
Ladies, wire coat hangers, what else do you see?
He loves the idea so much, He’ll buy the company.

The key is to get rid of Trump, people can piss and moan all they want about Speaker Pelosi not pushing impeachment, but the only way to get rid of Trump is to crush him electorally and leave no doubt, but if people get pissy because their choice was not nominated for President, we could lose when we should have easily won.

Sun Sep 15, 2019, 09:02 AM
Sep 2019
https://www.cbp.gov/careers/usbp-pay-and-benefits

This is government work, paid by taxpayers, with the kind of benefits that once came with most jobs, but no more. The vast majority can't replace these incomes and benefits in the private sector. College degree is not required, though a little AA in criminal justice can help get hired over competition, and see the site and below for what draws competition.

Note on the pay chart the next grades above entry level, noncompetitive -- not bad at all for high school grads, and you move up just by being there.

13 to 26 days of annual leave accrued per year (variation based on years of Federal service)
10 Federal holidays per year
15 days of military reserve leave
13 days of sick leave accrued per year
Opportunities for paid training

They also, critically, work toward handsome retirement annuities, which would be lost if they quit. A 21-year-old who keeps his nose clean can retire if he chooses at either 41 or 46 with either a standard or augmented lifetime annuity. As the website puts it: "Employees that retire from CBP can count on the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) to enjoy life after working."
