The boos are overwhelming at a soccer match in Portland when trump's name is mentioned.

With all of his recent acts and statements of stupidity and self-dealing—sharpiegate, Pence and airmen steered to stay in out-of-the-way trump properties, low poll ratings, unpopularity and no growth in his base of magats—I'm beginning to feel trump is going to lose in a landslide.

Here's the video link of him getting booed loudly. I've never seen this before of a sitting president:

Probably state-dependent. I've heard every President in my lifetime be loudly booed here in Iowa. MadDAsHell Sep 2019 #6
In most states it's cheers or silence. The cheers range from enthusiastic to just polite though. brush Sep 2019 #7

Oregon is a blue state.

2020 is going to be a close election; incumbent presidents are overwhelming re-elected.

And the EC still elects the president.

...at the height of the Depression. The booing settled into chants of "we want beer!" Given the state of the country then, and the idiocy of Prohibition, I've always thought they showed remarkable good sense...

talking about how hated Hoover was. All those homeless encampments were called Hoovervilles.

There's enough people on both sides of the aisle here to ensure that will probably happen forever.

I'm actually surprised to hear there are states where every President, regardless of party, has been roundly cheered every time their name is mentioned?

Iowa is a bit less diverse than other states which may or may not have something to do with it.
