Trump has been completely emboldened to rig the election in ways we cannot imagine.

Trump will rig the election right out in the open because he knows he can get away with it. When he gets caught cheating by the news media he will call it the fake news because it works. He will call all investigations corrupt because it works. He will bring up the Mueller Report and use it over and over again for his benefit. The report cleared me.

I can see nothing that stops Trump from rigging the election and gaining a second term except this. An economic or foreign crisis that turns his voters and Republicans in Congress against him.

I am beginning to be REALLY suspicious of Nancy. Something doesn't smell right.

edit to add, IF he "WINS" by obvious rigging, then we need to do whatever it takes (actions to be decided on at that time, to bring this country to a halt. Or are you unwilling to put up with a little inconvenience?)....

The impeach now crowd, [which seems to be declining a bit], has wanted, as does the trumpsters, to get formal impeachment going for a long time now. It should be obvious by now that 2017 was too soon. Something could learned by extrapolating from 2017 into 2018 at least.

In the KY 2015 Governor's race the Democratic A.G. had a 5 to 6 point lead but lost by 9 or
10 points with no apparent reason. Kind of like Trump's 2016 "win."

Joseph Goebbels: "The Big Lie."

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Russia Carried Out ‘Stunning’ Hack of Encrypted FBI Communications: Report

Russia carried out a “stunning” hack of U.S. intelligence services’ most sensitive communications, Yahoo News reports. The hack is believed to have happened around 2010 and reportedly gave Russian spies in Washington, New York, and San Francisco access to the location of FBI surveillance teams as well as the actual content of FBI communications. The hack may have allowed the Russian agents to avoid FBI surveillance, communicate with U.S. sources, and gather intelligence on their FBI pursuers, according to the report. “When we found out about this, the light bulb went on—that this could be why we haven’t seen [certain types of] activity” from Russian spies, one source told Yahoo. The Russians reportedly compromised the encrypted radio systems used by the FBI’s mobile surveillance teams as well as the backup communications systems. “This was something we took extremely seriously,” one former senior counterintelligence official is reported to have said. The intercepts were said to be monitored by teams at the Russian diplomatic compounds that President Obama ordered seized shortly before he left office.

Make McConnell and the GOP'ers defend the undefensible. They probably won't impeach Trump regardless. But if enough voters are scared enough to see the real end of democracy, perhaps that will drive them to the polls. Fear is a powerful motivator. Legitimate fear should be even more so...

Although I have not seen any real efforts by Democrats to prevent the cheating that we know is coming, as I feel it was not prevented in NC, I have to think that Democrats (Pelosi, Shumar, etc.) have crafted out a plan to derail those efforts.
