@realDonaldTrump
They failed on the Mueller Report, they failed on Robert Muellers testimony, they failed on everything else, so now the Democrats are trying to build a case that I enrich myself by being President. Good idea, except I will, and have always expected to, lose BILLIONS of DOLLARS..

....for the privilege of being your President - and doing the best job that has been done in many decades. I am far beyond somebody paying for a hotel room for the evening, or filling up a gas tank at an airport I do not own. These Radical Left Democrats are CRAZY! Obama Netflix?

House Judiciary has given up on the Mueller Report, sadly for them after two years and $40,000,000 spent - ZERO COLLUSION, ZERO OBSTRUCTION. So they say, OK, lets look at everything else, and all of the deals that Trump has done over his lifetime. But it doesnt....

....work that way. I have a better idea. Look at the Obama Book Deal, or the ridiculous Netflix deal. Then look at all the deals made by the Dems in Congress, the Congressional Slush Fund, and lastly the IG Reports. Take a look at them. Those investigations would be over FAST!

(18,837 posts)Twitter is having all kinds of fun informing him that Obama's deals don't fall under the emoluments clause.

(16,784 posts)Of course he is enriching himself while President and he knows it.
Just release the Tax Returns just to prove he IS NOT profiting off the Office and all will be settled. But NO! Trump refuses to do that.

(18,837 posts)He does it all the time. Referring to himself in 3rd person and putting it in quotes is supposed to demonstrate that the evil liberal portrayal of his "presidency" is fake, manufactured, unfair...
...this boy is a few slices shy of a loaf. Watch "Caine Mutiny" and you'll see it all. Trump is "Old Yellowstain" (will make sense only if you'be seen the movie).

(4,006 posts)and we need to push more of this narrative 24/7/365 until Election Day. This is not to say he wasn't nuts before. Tut-tut!
It now seems that the convergence of a lot of bad news for Trumpyboy has further unhinged him. The looming recession, more Democratically lead new investigations, the failure of all his deals and his self-inflicted wounds from constant and high-level staff turnover. Heck, he's even got Kellyskank Spinway to say, inadvertently I'm sure, that Trumpenfueher doesn't even think but always acts on instinct, instinct that by the way caused all those casino, airline, steak, wine and other endeavors to fail miserably.
If he thinks the long knives are out for him, he'd be right....for a change!

(22,912 posts)Even were he right about losing "Billions of dollars" (which would be an amazing feat since by even generous estimates he is only worth several billion dollars to begin with and most of that is in property holdings), whether he is making money off the presidency isn't the salient point. What matters most is that he makes himself susceptible to bribery to influence foreign policy through his international business dealings.
In fact if Trump were losing money as a result of the presidency, that could make him more eager to mitigate his losses via "sweet offers" from abroad.

Come out from behind that curtain, and let us get a good long look at you. Maybe you could explain your directives, and make your case to the American people.
Its what were actually paying you to do.
