Border Patrol: "People Actively Hate Us" - well, your union politicized, endorsed SHITLER

In 1976, the three months training for Immigration/Customs/BP was heavy in content of cultural awareness and treating immigrants with respect. There were signs when OBAMA was elected, as throughout the rest of the TeaBagger recoil, that politicizing, LIMBAUGH fans, and Rednecks were coming out more, but with SHITLER in 2015 the Border Patrol union went full out and endorsed him. Things that were always there just came out in the open. SHITLER's mission has been to destroy all of our institutions and conventions, politicizing the branches of PUBLIC SERVICE.

**********Just for kicks here, even BEES are bugging them (2nd item) !1 Reminiscent of Apocalypse Now(?) where the warrior going about his war things on his mind in the jungle is *shocked* by a TIGER bursting out of the foliage.

‘People Actively Hate Us’: Inside the Border Patrol’s Morale Crisis
Overwhelmed by desperate migrants and criticized for mistreating the people in their care, many agents have grown defensive, insular and bitter.

One Border Patrol agent in Tucson said he had been called a “sellout” and a “kid killer.” In El Paso, an agent said he and his colleagues in uniform had avoided eating lunch together except at certain “BP friendly” restaurants because “there’s always the possibility of them spitting in your food.” An agent in Arizona quit last year out of frustration. “Caging people for a nonviolent activity,” he said, “started to eat away at me.”

For decades, the Border Patrol was a largely invisible security force. Along the southwestern border, its work was dusty and lonely. Between adrenaline-fueled chases, the shells of sunflower seeds piled up outside the windows of their idling pickup trucks. Agents called their slow-motion specialty “laying in” — hiding in the desert and brush for hours, to wait and watch, and watch and wait.

Two years ago, when President Trump entered the White House with a pledge to close the door on illegal immigration, all that changed. The nearly 20,000 agents of the Border Patrol became the leading edge of one of the most aggressive immigration crackdowns ever imposed in the United States.

No longer were they a quasi-military organization tasked primarily with intercepting drug runners and chasing smugglers. Their new focus was to block and detain hundreds of thousands of migrant families fleeing violence and extreme poverty — herding people into tents and cages, seizing children and sending their parents to jail, trying to spot those too sick to survive in the densely packed processing facilities along the border.

Air and Marine Operations Rescues Agent Attacked by Bees in the Rio Grande Valley
Release Date: September 14, 2019

MCALLEN, Texas – On Tuesday, a UH-60 Blackhawk from the McAllen Air Branch of Air and Marine Operations rescued a Border Patrol agent after he was attacked by bees and stung hundreds of times.

The Blackhawk was conducting patrol operations when the crew heard radio traffic about the injured agent and a request for EMT services. The aircrew flew to the location due to ground distance for the EMT and the agent having issues breathing. The Blackhawk flew the injured agent to a local hospital where he was met by ER nurses.

Air and Marine Operations employs agents trained as EMT’s and paramedics as crew members in its aircraft to assist in rescue operations. The Air and Marine Emergency Medical Service (AMEMS) was established by Air and Marine Operations to provide specialized medical capabilities and highly skilled tactical practitioners in austere airborne and maritime environments. Each AMEMs or EMT goes through 8 weeks of intensive studying during an online course followed by a week long training of hands-on experience.

Why didn't someone warn them? Jeez, you break up a few families, torture a few kids, and let a few people in your custody die of totally preventable causes, and the next thing you know, they're saying mean things about you down at the Chit-Chat Cafe. It's unfair!
