1. I am not so arrogant, or stupid, to think that everyone must be just like me;

2. We have a Nazi in the White House and that is humbling in and of itself;

3. The only reason to not be nice to some is their malevolence towards me, and I should refuse to allow any malevolence to affect me or my agenda to VOTE DEMOCRATIC!

We have an awesome slate of candidates, any one of whom can deliver us from evil. If that isn't unifying to you then that is your problem and I can't help you. I can control only myself and I will go down no rabbit hole. At least I try to be better from now on at avoiding them.

This has the advantage of neutering all Russian and right wing trolls.

Good strategy. Let them become uneasy with the vacuous self-congratulatory thoughts that make up their mindset. It may never confront reality, but it can also become stale and impotent. Perhaps their stupidity must simple play itself out.
