Twitter links

I find them to be a hassle when I have already clicked a post to read further. But all I find is "Link to tweet".

There are too many posts like that. I'm not going to click a second time to finally read what it says. At least with links to news articles there are fair use snippets that the poster considers of value to help peak the interest of anyone to explore further.

3. I see those tweets truly embedded and have never had problem with that, but this is a problem

that is more recent. Apparently, tweets embedded from internet access to the tweet still show up normally (that's how I access, since I am not on twitter), but at least the past few weeks since a twitter upgrade, many who post from their registered accounts do not show up normally.

So, for some it could be a adblock issue, but I think there is still a problem with the twitter upgrade.

2. That's how I feel about other sites that are linking to photos on instagram so that

the entire page is one white box, where the instagram photo ought to be, but they apparently don't allow direct links or embedding of their content.

Then there are posts (here and elsewhere) that link merely to a facebook page and much of that content is not public or only available to those who have are registered facebook members (and I REFUSE).

This is making so much content unreadable.

4. That was happening to me

when the links were first featured on DU. But I have had to go through a virtual hoopdance of maneuvers to keep my WIN7 os working. It seems that when I updated my browser a few months ago the links to the twitmonster started opening automatically. I don;t know what I did but it may have been something related to the settings in my browser and acct at DU. Now they just open up on their own, which I prefer.
