I was quite shocked when he returned for the new season and said he had recovered.
I don't know anyone who recovered from pancreatic cancer.

I wish him the best with the new round of chemo. I’m sure they have new drugs that work better than those available in 2006. My mother was in this exact same situation then; initial treatment done, no surgical option, weight falling off, numbers climbing. She passed two months later.

He sounds at peace with how this is likely going to play out.
